Our Story

Hi, I am Natalie, a homeschooling mom to 5 beautiful children. I got my start with herbal remedies with essential oils when I was struggling to control my endometriosis. Clary Sage essential oil was what started it all for me. It gave me the relief I was never able to find in conventional medicine. From there I learned to help heal myself. I had been told most of my life I would never have children because of my endometriosis, but here I am today with 5 beautiful loving children, I owe all of that to shifting my life to a more natural lifestyle. The more I have learned along the way the more I have wanted to teach and help others learn how to Waddle The Natural Path.

In 2024 I enrolled in Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine’s Immersion Program with the intention of starting my own tea apothecary when I completed the program. But soon after I was offered the opportunity to take over production of a Mueller Honey Bee’s elderberry syrup by the owner and a dear friend of mine. In 2018 She had created a line of elderberry syrup for her children after struggling to find one that kept the honey raw. As a bee keeper she knew the importance of using raw unprocessed local honey to add more medicinal benefits to the syrup. And with this amazing opportunity Sage Village Apothecary got an early start!

Each product I have created was formulated because my family, or someone I love was in need of healing in some way. Our apothecary is still small, we are still growing and adding new products as I perfect each recipe. All products are made in small batches in a local commercial kitchen with the help of my village. My husband, a handyman by trade, with a background in the culinary arts spends every kitchen day with me helping me cook. I have 3 amazing friends who have become aunts to my children who help in the kitchen, caring for our children while we cook, work the markets and help with every aspect of the business. Emily from Mueller Honey Bee has become a mentor as I grow this business. I would not be a success if it wasn’t for my wonderful village!
